Extra R42 cars.

Since there are still some R42 cars running on the L line, when it starts running with OPTO full time in November, what is NYCT going to do with the extra R42 cars they have, will they be transferred to Coney Island Yard.

Most likely, they will displace the R143 cars that's on the weekend M. They will move to Fresh Pond/ENY yards.

or transfer them to the Rockaway Park/Far Rockaway neighborhood, if not, they could use them on the main tunnel lines, such as the N, W, D, F, R and Franklin Shuttle. That would be good use for them.
