Ex-Army locomotives for sale

Ex-US Army 1873 from Fort Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord) was sold and almost immediately popped up for resale at Sterling Rail:

Also for sale is this ex-Army RS4TC in Spain:

I know of someone who was stationed in Spain in the Army around 1960 and I wonder if this was his locomotive.
