With the Ethanol Plant in Blissfield up and running, seeing all the tank cars up there really put it into perspective for me. Why doesnt NS reactivate the "Old Road" and interchange with the ADBF at Riga and possibly I&O. Wouldnt this shave a day or more off of traffic going south on NS from the original point of Blissfield?

Why? They already interchange in Adrain, besides the tracks are gone between Ottawa Lake & Riga. :(

Wouldnt this shave some time off of picking up at Adrian and driving back southward? Between Riga and Ottawa Lake is only what 7 miles at best? Im sure this ethanol plant will only get bigger so it will only help speed to wherever they ship ethanol.... But then again thats why im not in charge lol
