Hello,
My friend Doug Relyea had been working on adding scenery at Goshen, NY on the virtual Tristate route being built for the Microsoft Train Simulator platform. However, Doug stopped working on the Erie Railroad portion of the route because of discrepancies arising in the historical sources he is using to place the track. He wrote me, "I had encountered differences in what the Orange County Atlas was showing for (the track layout at) Goshen, and what was showing on the Sanborn Fire Map for there." Does anyone have a map(s) or images that show what was the layout of the Erie Railroad trackage that use to exist in Goshen anytime from the mid/late 1920s to the early 1950s. I am particularly interested in the track layout of the small yard that the Erie had in Goshen.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Walter Conklin.
