I'm looking for information on Erie caboose C-348, currently in the collection of the Niagara Frontier Chapter, NRHS. Haven't been able to contact them, no info on their web site. Checked the Conrail Caboose Page, says Conrail class N-7D only contained cabooses C-300 to C-347. What happened to 348?

To further answer my own question... C-348 was purchased from the bankrupt D&H in 1989, where it had been stored in Oneonta. Now at the Niagara Frontier Chapter NRHS museum, awaiting restoration.
