What was the procedure for steam engine crews bringing NYC passenger trains into or out of Cleveland during the time when the Cleveland Union Terminal was operating trains with electric locomotives? Did all steam crews go on and off duty at Linndale & Collinwood? Or would, say, a Collinwood crew run their steam engine light to Linndale to get their train to go West? Or, say if arriving, did they leave their steam at the changing point & ride the electric as a deadhead to their off duty point?

CUT was a separate seniority district.

For passenger trains via CUT:

Erie Division engine crews changed at Collinwood (E. 152nd St.).

Big Four Ohio Division and Toledo Division engine crews changed at Linndale.

CUT crews operated Collinwood / Linndale.
