The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society is proud to announce that we will be holding our first convention in Scranton, Pennsylvania Friday, October 21, Saturday, October 22, and winding up by Noon Sunday, October 23, 2005. ELDCPS has invited several other historical societies with similar interests to participate in this special event.
ELDCPS is planning a broad slate of exciting activities for this weekend. We have been working with the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad to sponsor two days of passenger operation during the convention, which will have an Erie Lackawanna theme.
We will also be hosting a reunion of EL, Erie, & DL&W Veterans, including special Veterans-only events.
