Anyone have a retirement date / disposition of this unit ?
Did it become an RS-3M ??

I do not belive RS-3 1024 was rebuilt to a RS-3M.

You are correct. I found my RS-3m conversion roster and EL 1024 is not on it. It apparently was renumbered as CR 5244? and perhaps was last at Altoona wearing that number in Aug 1977 - dead.

Would like to hear from anyone with more info - photos of this unit in late 1976 to the end (1977?)
