I am building a simple representation of a 50' fishbelly mill gondola to use as a riding car behind my 1.5" scale engine. As such, I am not looking to add details like bolts, rivets, brake details, etc. It is built out of plywood with a steel frame. Since my first train set was an EL engine (high-nosed GP50... go figure Bachmann) I have a soft spot for them. I ran into a picture online of an HO scale model of an EL mill gondola:

Can anyone point me to a couple of prototype pictures online of these class of cars? If not, can someone give me some quick information like their road numbers, date introduced, and approximate length of service?
