The narrow guage locos used on the Riobomba portion of the Ecuador RR: anyone know who made them? when? Anything I've found on the web has been tourist orientated.

That was my guess as well - GE. Suspect they may have been made in London, Ontario but again, that's another "guess". Can send a photo if it would help - mind you, by the time I master that ......

i rode that line back in the late 80 's . the locos look similar to our dx class . i have since found that is a u26c . not the 23c .

there is a brazilian firm , Fratesch , who make models of them in ho scale .
