East or west better for Canadian?

Hey all,

Next winter I'm planning to take the Canadian one way between Toronto and Vancouver, and I will fly the other direction.

In your guys' expert opinions, which direction do you think offers the best daytime scenery?

Yeah, because of the schedule change is specifically why I'm asking. Sorry, I should have mentioned that above.
