I'm curious who has the preference to keep some interchange at Millers Falls and some at Brattleboro? PAS or NECR?

Took a quick peek in at Deerfield today around noontime. Found ED2 352 working the loop. ED4 310 working up EDBF. ED1 77-406 working the hump, and EDPO 340-8072-600 departing. Over at Greenfield MOED 504-3109-373-316-7860 was holding at CPF 385 due to a truck striking the bridge at Cheapside.

Better late than never I guess? ECT with some interesting power at CPF 384 waiting for a re-crew on Monday 02-17-14...

EDRJ was out of Deerfield around noon with 2 NS units and a monster train of around 100 cars. More than half were LPG. ED190, ED4, ED2, and ED1 were all working the yard. Over in Montague 190ED was canned at 381 with no power, and a 100 car POED was at Lake Pleasent with no power. Also there was a huge MOED on the Greenfield runner.

It doesn't matter if they told 1500 cars or 15,000 if they don't pull the cars out of the yard... There is a manpower shortage and the power has been dying left and right.

Sounds like business as usual. I've heard they are shopping for more 6-axles.

Shoulda bought those freshly-rebuilt ex-SOO SD60s before CP changed their mind and decided to keep 'em.

They aren't shopping unfortunately. Though it would make sense to pick another 20 SD40 class up up dirt cheap.
