Swung by the yard this afternoon. Not much going on. ED3 was working the west end. Sounded like they crossed over an EDPO, tested an EDMO, and began building an EDRJ. 8955-332-516? were on the ready. 3003-305-52-77-350-352-608-618-PAR1-PAR2 in the pit.

Swung by a very full East Deerfield yard this afternoon. ED1 was working the east end with the slug set. ED4 was working the loop with the 52-77. POED died at Lake Pleasent with 333-619-509 and a big train. EDMO was on the Fitchburg with 3105-504-351. EDBF was on the ready with 305-503. 287 was sitting at Greenfield waiting on track work all afternoon with NS 6961. Both the R yard and West yard were jammed.

POED 314-603-8955 and 39 cars arrived around 1230.

ED4 had the 77, then later the 310-354. They spotted 2 cars on the Conn River runner at 385, for scrap rail.

EDBF will have the 310-354 and 26 cars this evening.

Swung by the yard quick this afternoon. Seemed pretty packed.

14R NS 9007-NS 8863-608-DME 6200 with 114 cars were into EDFLD around noon.

11R 609-616-NS 6956-NS 9825 was on the ready.

ED4 had the 370.

Monstah RJED on the Greenfield Industrial.

POED sitting at Montague.

For the last several days, they have been having 28N make P&W pick-ups at EDFLD.

NBPO tying down at the boxcar in Erving. Left Deerfield with five 6 packs and 10,000 tons. lost 2 engines. Taxi back to Deerfield and bring more power back to train. The amount of time and money they waste dealing with poorly maintained and/or junk power is astronomical.

They seemed to have recognized this with the recent engine rebuild program.

The one that sent 345 to Pauducah, so it can come back and go OOS after 2 months. Lol...

I saw on one of the other lists that today's 11R had MEC 349 in the consist. All I could think was "ouch"...

I'd heard it was OOS at Deerfield today. Either way, its got some electrical problems and is pretty much as useless as the rest of the fleet.
