I am currently tring to replace some worn out couple guts on an E-8 locomotive would anyone have info of part numbers or close up photos of such? The one currently on the unit may not be correct.

What type of coupler is it? Couplers are not specific to a locomotive. There are many different types.

It is an "H" type coupler with: Thrower: H30A
Dual lock lift: H14A
Hammer: 9765


I believe the lock lift is the piece that the cut levers fit into and when attempting to remove or replace it the back portion of the piece will not clear the frame while attempting to rotate it off the support pins.
