There is an interesting reprint of an article from 1946 on the operations at the DV Tower in the Bronx. It is featured in Classic Trains – ‘Trains of the 1940’s’.
Not to long ago,DV was demo'ed by MN,for "safety"(aka legal) reasons.
It was an empty shell,"abandoned" building.
