Apparently there will be no train on Friday due to crossing work at Squankum Yellowbrook Road. They have to repave the road.

according to the RFP, yes the new leg will.

Just the new leg, and not the old one too? I guess that would make sense, since they traverse the old leg maybe a few times a month at this point.

Lots of crossing work recently

Today I was at the Mount Vernon Rd crossing in Englishtown, and the crossbuck for northbound traffic was completely gone. No sign at all.

I think it was missing when I was last there too. Some idiot probably ran it over and took off. A similar incident happened at Southard Ave just before the lights went up.

I need to ask my pal if he's got any pictures of when a school bus destroyed the cross street lights and tracks about 10-12 years ago. Lots of destruction on these lines over the years...

A RR crossing on the Freehold Secondary with no sign at all is now dangerous and unacceptable. The rail crews have obviously not reported this one, so what now? Do we call a phone number and tell them that way?

Apparently, DRRR is using 752 again. Reports on Facebook say they brought her out yesterday. IIRC, this is the first time in many months that they have used 752.

Will 752 be on today's JB-1?

Seriously? Use 752 and leave 2005 to do the Freehold work.
