Likely in or near Lakewood by now. They had 6 cars to bring down today, so there shouldn't be a reasin they're late.

Referring to above, Patterson Ave. is shut off on account of where they park the empties, and Shrewsbury Ave. doesn't work either.

Why? Patterson will shut off if it a train is on the circuit but isn’t moving. Some roads do that.

Workers checking out the ROW towards Fairfield at Yellowbrook Rd this morning. Unmarked jeep vehicle, but painted same red as Railroad Construction Corp. vehicles.

@Rustyrail They’ll be leaving shortly.

@CharlieL That’s probably one of their personal vehicles.

DCS Lakewood has been mentioned several times, but I cannot guess what those letters stand for. Is it the former station in Lakewood? What is the location?
  by Bracdude181
DCS means Form D Control Station. DCS LAKEWOOD is a blue sign at the south end of the siding downtown, next to where Dinaso Lumber was. They call it in on the radio when they go through there and what direction they’re moving. North is moving towards Farmingdale.

There’s other stations but the signs for them are either in off limits areas or gone.

For those interested, I have made a map of all the grade crossings of the active portions of the Southern Secondary crosses, as well as listed some bridges (I-195, Rt 33/34, Rt 18, the Parkway, Tinton Ave) where you would be able to see RB-1 from above. Special thanks to @Bracdude181 for telling me the grade crossings.
