Subject: [LocoNotes] GE dash 7 locomotive frames to Rail Power


Susquehanna Loco & Car Repair in the NYSW shop in Utica, NY has sold
all of the GE dash 7 locomotives which they had been parting out.
Rail Power Tech has been buying the frame and trucks of the following
units for the Green Goat program. Units have all the sheet metal,wiring
and all mechanical parts removed above the frame. Fuel tank is removed
below the frame. Frames are being shipped out on a special highway
truck and locomotive trucks are shipped out on a seperate highway truck.

Units are BN B30-7A cabless units 4060, 4086, 4088, 4102 and 4109.
GENX ex NS B36-7 3604,ex CR 5008 and GENX 3609 ex CR 5021.

Seven units from Utica plus I was told that Susquehanna Loco & Car
parent company, RMDI in Pittston. PA is doing about 12-15 dash 7s.
