Can anyone (maybe Chief Troll) offer some memories or insight into how the D&H and the Valley interchanged at Wilkes-Barre prior to the Dupont connection being built?
I believe the Valley came south down the old passenger main from Coxton to meet the D&H in Wilkes-Barre only to have the D&H pulled the interchange cars north to Hudson Yard.

Recently I heard that the Valley used the CNJ's "backtrack" from Ashley to Laurel Run for a short time to take interchange traffic from the D&H at Wilkes-Barre to Allentown after the Valley took over the Central's Pa trackage in 1972.

Anyone have any memories or knowledge?
