Well with this beautiful weather last night my father and i decided we would head down track side in Ridgefield Park, NJ. We were not disappointed at all. Here is a little photo essay of our day.

We got down around 8:30 via Route 4 and to our shock a southbound double stack was rolling past. We never caught up to the power but it was later learned that the train was Q112.

Once at the Ridgefield Park station i heard on the scanner that another train was to come through on its way to North Bergen. It was Q160 and it rolled through at 8:43.

After Q160 cleared up i was shocked to hear that NJ Dispatch was going to put through another train and it was Q164 which passed at 8:55 very close behind the Q160. Then Q164 set off the high car detector and it seemed to go into emergency right infront of us as we heard a loud bang and then it squealed to a stop. It soon got moving and on its way.

There was a lull in the action and we went down to the bridge by CP5 and soon after Q254 rolled through at 10:05.

Right behind Q254 Q108 came close on track 2 before pulling into the NYSW yard around 10:15.

Then for the final train of the day Q110 came through Ridgefield Park around 11:10 and that was the end of the railfanning adventure.
