FWIW, Lidestri Fairport had CSX activity all last fall, but has had no activity since April of this year.

If you didn't get your photos then, it might be too late now.

Does Matthews & Fields in Greece receive rail shipments? The Google Streetview shows an overgrown ROW across the street from them.

As far as I know, it has been many years since they received any traffic. I believe the track is out of service from somewhere around Barnard's north. "BL80" is no more. :(

Yes, the track is long overgrown at Stonewood Ave. It might be close to 15 years since Matthews & Field received service. The current end of track is just before Dewey Ave. crossing, which is paved over. The CSX crossing is still in service, of course.

Great 1975 photo, CPS! :-D That would be the First Belt, quite possibly engineer Charlie Bender at the throttle. At that time, not only did they have Russell and Beebee stations, but the rest of the State Street branch plus the East and the West Hojack locals out of Charlotte.

Sad to say, give it a few years and you will have to strain to see where the tracks used to cross there.
