ive noticed at Lang Yard for the past week or more that there have been ALOT of CSX Big Blue boxcars accumulating on the rearmost 2-4 tracks then yesterday i saw a whole train of them go south on the TT stenciled as KCS with the CSX, Big Blue painted over & renumbered. Im not sure but these units are not that old at all. I would imagine CSX is selling them but why? KCS must have offered them some decent dough for them.

BTW sitting at Lang in front of the soon "former"? Big Blues is a orange engine ive never seen it before id say it looks like a GE 44 tonner but Im not sure.

Also ive noticed lately that there seems to be fewer and fewer class 1 railroad cars around or at least not seeing any. Seeing alot more others for example NOKL. Even alot more leasing companies especially on open hoppers and covered hoppers. Is this just another way for the railroads to make money or are they not using these cars/getting rid of unprofitable cars.
