Hi, i live in a neighborhood about a half-mile from the derailment.

I drove past it this morning before they closed the road bridge over both the tracks and Susquehanna River thats about 100 ft from the actual derailment sight.

There are pictures and some info up on http://www.wnep.com/Global/story.asp?S=5781428

From what i saw, it was a southbound NS train. The derailed portion of the train is actually the last third of it or so, as the first two-thirds, including three NS C40-9W's are parked about two miles down the tracks in Catawissa.

The derailed cars seem to be quite a mess, so yeah...i would expect all Sunbury line trains to be detoured down the Lehigh Line for a while.
