I looked around the site but couldnt find the info I was looking for. Does anyone have info and photos of B&M express cars converted from troop sleepers? I have found some info online, but good photos are lacking.

once again, a nod to Mr. Van Bokkelen for complete info of B&M's converted troop sleepers
express cars 3225 - 3249, and RPOs 3180 - 3182

including a photo of a handsome HO scale model.

There is a nice photo of one of the RPOs in Bob Liljsetrand's
Passenger Cars of New England Vol. 1 - Boston & Maine

and there is this one in the Guilford wreck train :

Thank you for the info. I had seen the faracresfarm website, but was hoping to find photos of the real cars, which you found but I could not for some reason. Thank you again!

This should be just what you're looking for -

The first shot was taken of 2-door baggage car 3225 at Concord Shops July 8,1947
The second shot of 4-door baggage car 3271 was also taken at Concord Shops October 1948.

Those pictures are are much better, being period. What color were these cars originally painted? I am guessing maroon?

Maroon is correct, the only reason the 2nd photo looks darker is because it was shot against the sun.
