Conrail Historical Society, Inc. 1st Annual Fall Banquet

Saturday November 4, 2006

Join us for an exciting evening at the Central Pennsylvania College in Summerdale, PA beginning at 5pm. A full course dinner begins promptly at 6pm followed by a slide show presented by Joe Jack. After viewing the great photography of this former Conrail employee we will introduce our guest speaker for the evening, former Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of Conrail, Mr. David M. LeVan. A question and answer session will follow his presentation making this a truly unique and rare experience for CRHS members and non-members alike. Menu- A traditional dinner buffet; New England Clam Chowder, Whole and Freshly cut Fruits & Berries, Mixed Field Greens with Dressings & Toppings, Marinated Mushrooms, Vegetable & Pasta Salads, and a choice of either Roast Loin of Pork with Currant Port Demi-Glace or Grilled Breast of Chicken with Whole Grain Mustard Sauce. Roasted Potatoes, Wild Rice Medley, Orecchiette Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes & Herbs, Fresh Vegetables, an assortment of Breads & Rolls finished off with an assortment of Cakes and Pies.

Directions to Central Pennsylvania College- Take I-81 to exit 65 (Routes 11/15 South). Go south one half mile and turn right at the traffic light onto Valley Road. Travel a half-mile; Central Penn is on the left, large building by the flagpole. Visitors may park in front of the building via a left turn at the adjoining traffic light on B Street or across the street from this location.
