Another fresh-painted unit, but check out the graphics on the long hood: it's a picture of a CN locomotive. A wide-cab. Painted on the side of a standard-cab. Go figure.

Also, when clean, the Alan Fleming-designed work is timeless and really attractive. Not many 1960's era liveries are holding up this well.

What's the netting/screen/mesh between the stanchions for?

Edit - Nevermind, I just read the information for the picture which pretty much explains why it's there.

I'll see your irony, and up you one more.. It's a decal of a GM locomotive on a GE locomotive. (It's not actually paint)
