This is the list I have of CITX/CEFX leased SD 40-2 that MMA entered into on 3/18/13

CITX 3053
CITX 3057
CITX 3071
CITX 3091
CITX 3082
CITX 3097
CITX 3101
CITX 3163 Still Lettered CEFX
CITX 3166
CITX 3172 Still Lettered CEFX

So 2 of those are off lease when CMQ commences operations….?

What of the RWL EX CN SD40's?

Initially the B23-7 were involved in the sale to Fortress, however the GP15D and GP20D's may spell the end of the GE era.

Any word on any of the freight cars leases with CITX? MMA was leasing 211 Boxes and 110 Centerbeams from them.

Units have arrived to NMJ and most likely are moving to Derby this evening.

Maybe, maybe not. They didn't sell very well at all (only 40 were ever built), and there was only one buyer: CIT Leasing. Most railroads wanted nothing to do with these units. I do hope they perform well for CM&Q.

I live in St. Johnsbury, Vt. Between the legendary MEC Mountain Division, CP / B & M joint venture and the St. J. & L. C. ( I refuse to call it any other name), it was heaven. Now I have almost nothing here, so I take many road trips. The Eastern Townships have always been my favorite place to go. It was 11 years ago today I had a religious experience. My first MMA train. Two C-30-7's (5016, 5023) and 80 cars going east down the hill between Sherbrooke and Lennoxville. The sight and sound of those units climbing out of Lennoxville was amazing. This was a shock to this diehard EMD fan. No engine has ever sounded better than a GP-7. Always my favorite MEC 564 comes to mind. Even though CM & Q will be using EMD units, it will never be the same. Whoever reads this, thanks for listening. I feel better now.

Mike, I think we've all had experiences like that! They come at different times, in different places, but they are always incredible. When you see, hear and feel the full power of a locomotive. The ground moves under your feet, the air is heavy with diesel exhaust, flanges squeel and the sounds of motors thumping in notch 8 fill your ears. There is nothing quite like it, and in an instant it is gone. "Religious experience" is maybe the best way to describe it; because you can recount the story but no amount of adjectives will explain the way it feels to and witness it. It is the pursuit of that fleeting moment, in awe of the scale and power, that we go trackside.

Reminds me of the first time I saw/heard/felt U18Bs in Run 8. No words to describe it...
