From the onset the construction and service work done for the railroad made up a large segment of the Roy Strom Company’s business. The company’s ability to produce, and meet project deadlines helped cement a solid working relationship with the Milwaukee Road, and to build a reputation respected in the railroad industry. The heritage is still evident today as the Strom Company’s unique logo, derived from the Milwaukee Road’s famous Hiawatha Line is still proudly displayed on all company equipment. To this day, Roy Strom Company still performs a large amount of work for major railroads in the Chicago area.
