Lima #3156 was the second largest Shay built, at 256,000 lbs. While at Cass, WV in 1933 it was comverted to a 4 truck Shay at 197 TONS! It was scrapped at Cass in 1956 as Mower Lumber #12. http://www.shaylocomotives.com/data/lim ... n-3156.htm

6 is the largest surving shay but she wasnt the largest built KCS 900 was the biggest it was a C160 Class

That's true. #6 is also the largest 3 truck Shay ever built.

Any of you been to cass and rode behind her? Great thing about living here in WV i'm only about 3 hours away. I'v rode in the cab of WM 6, 2,11,5 Havnt rode on the Heisler been in the cab a few times and soon as 4 makes it way out of the shop. This year all of the normal running shays will be running 2-11 plus the heisler.
