California Zephyr employment

Hello all I was wondering if any of you would be able to answer my question. I have been wondering why there seems to never be a job opening in the Grand Junction/Glen wood Springs area. Are these stations highly sought over?

There are very few Amtrak jobs in that area. I'd guess fewer than 6 or 8.

IMHO, your best bet is to try to just get your foot in the door at Amtrak. No matter where the job is.. Amtrak has national seniority. So you can freely move around. This is my approach. I don't care where I get in. Just want my foot in the door.
