I searched for a thread about C&O SD40's , but there wasn't one, so I started this one , just now.
As a younger railfan, I only photographed ONE , single solitary C&O Locomotive, this after the Chesie System merger.

I would like it if anyone who has pictures of C&O SD40's could post one or two of them here, as this unit looks so lonely...
I believe this freight was Westbound, on the North side of the Allegheny River, parallel to the Allegheny Heritage Trail, as you can tell, there are two sets of tracks, at different levels...
