What?!? You mean you don't come in on your day off anyway, just to be sure you don't miss one minutes of the fun? :wink:

I drove by the Hamburg enginehouse last Sunday. Nothing was running because it was the weekend.

Parked in front of the enginehouse was #105, #29 and #2010:

Alco S-2 #105:

GE critter #29 which is used as a shop switcher:

2010 and 105 need cable repairs to return to service

Yes, I was on the property (with permission) and got this pic of the LV boxcar:

Pat Connors has posted a video on YouTube of the BSOR clearing their line after the November snowstorm.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-ipNFpGDTg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Between November 13 and 20th, 2014 over 79.5 inches of snow fell on Hamburg, NY. During that time most major roads were closed. Many railroads were unable to move traffic. It took the BSOR 4 days for crew members to be safely able to reach the enginehouse. After a day of digging the locomotive out of the enginehouse, the Jordan Spreader finally was able to reopen the line. See this ex D&H spreader plowing north on the old Erie BS&W branch from Hamburg to BC Junction. By the time the plow was mobilized, the snow had become extremely wet and heavy. Enjoy the Alco RS-11 pushing it's D&H companion, spreader #35053. Enjoy!

I caught a short BSOR freight near Hamburg last Friday with RS-11 #5010:

Bley Road crossing:

Stored RS-3 #28 and crane on a siding in Eden:

Why is their a NY&LE passenger car on a siding in Eden?

Yeah, that guy almost got me once. About 2 weeks ago we cold patched that crossing & while we were working, out of no where, this overly friendly pooch shows up. We chased him around in circles trying to get him to go home while cars were swerving by. Crazy. They need an electric fence or a cable run or something.

That coach wasn't NYLE's to begin with & some new private owners bought it from the old private owner.
