I like how that latest deck mentions how it will be helpful for the cornell tech campus, which will be on Roosevelt island. No BQX routings go to roosevelt island... It will have zero impact on anyone trying to get to or from there.

Another is the 21st street routing through queens - yeah, that road is terrible. It's bad because it has no turn lanes and isn't nearly as wide as it needs to be for the traffic on it. I don't think those of us who have to drive down that road think dropping a streetcar into it and taking away trafffic lanes is any kind of improvement.

This is the type of gaslighting that makes me question the entire project.

If the city has $2 Billion burning a hole in its pockets it seems it would be better spent on already planned projects that are awaiting funding like Second Ave Subway phases 2, 3 and 4. Just my $0.02.

This is an epic waste of cash and nothing more than an ego grab by Deblasio.
Just give the waterfront better bus service....
