The non-placarded cars were covered as well, but the cover was inside the gons. The placarded cars had the tarps over the top of the car, resembling a tent.

Again, the rulebook clearly states that the movement of the placarded cars was prohibited without permission. That is how this can of worms was opened.

Possibly this is LIRR's way of "punishing" NYAR for moving these cars improperly.

If you read the article carefully, it states that Fred Krebs of the NYA states that an agreement has been reached. The LIRR states they do not know of any agreement. As long as that stalemate continues, then we're no farther along.

They were supposed to move on Monday, but it didn't happen. Didn't happen Tuesday either.

Right along the Cowboy hasn't had a comment in the press. Glad to see he got his voice back.
