1. A trip one way on Regional Rail to/from Center City Philadelphia. Not valid for via Center City Travel.

2. for a day's unlimited travel on SEPTA's transit services within the city of Philadelphia, including:

All bus routes within the City limits
Market-Frankford line
Broad Street line
Subway-Surface lines
All Streetcar lines"
A question I've always had about that specific wording is wether 1 & 2 have to be taken in the same day? If you use the regional rail trip first, the R just gets punched in the folder, so the transit portion of it can be used at any time later, but should it? Will the reverse work, and as long as the R isn't punched conductors will honor the daypass even if the attached transfer is for a different day?

I've got a couple punched passes in my wallet from when I just caught the train and wanted to avoid the $2 extra, but I never remember to ask a conductor or ticket agent about it...
