Does american trains cross the border to Mexico ??
And does mexican trains go into the USA ??
I live in Germany and with the EU european union all borders are open for everyone. There are no border controlls among each other of the member countries.
The only problem in the goods/passenger transport by train is, that almost every country has its own secure system.
But i think on the north american continent is the interoperability no problem. But there are no open borders.
So, how do the border controlls look like?
Does every railcar will be opened and controlled.
How long does it takes to check a hole train?
Whats about containers and gondolas, resp with bulk materials.
Are there trains running between USA and Mexico?
In the news i heared, that there are plans to built a wall, to hold on the immigrants
So are there bordercrossing trains at all?
