(Also posted on Amtrak forum for information only)

Train 48 was by CP362 at 11:45 AM today, it had some Burlington Northern Santa Fe passenger cars on the rear end along with 3 roadrailers. 100 axles reported by the Brighton detector.

Are the BNSF coaches being used by AMTRAK or is this a special move?

Just curious, what time is the "Late 48" supposed to pass by your area? I've noticed it running behind a lot lately.

According to the Amtrak website, it is scheduled to arrive at 8:03 am. Whenever I've been up there for it tho, it has never been within half an hour of being on time, and sometimes much much later. Anyone i know who is traveling east from rochester I advise to take one of the Empire Service trains.

I was on 48 in May 1995. We had to wait a half hour to leave Depew because we got there too early.

They came in at 12:45 right. My clock in the car had to be reset.
