Scott, this rocks! Thank you so much for letting us know!
As a LV and NY Harbor fan, this is great news.....I moderate a rail-marine operations news group on Yahoo!Groups at ..........
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/railmarineops/
and I'd like to try to get a group of fans from the NY/NJ/PA/CT area for a ride down to Maryland. It's not everyday you get to see a LV tugboat still in action, let alone to ride it!

Clear sailing,

If the CORNELL is still operating in Boston Towing colors as shown in the photo, this would be an opportunity for a historical group to approach the owners and see if they might be receptive to a repaint into Lehigh Valley colors, particularly if it could be done with some funding assistance from interested railroad historical groups.

The CAPMOORE is now in the Boston area, where the CORNELL used to operate.

Scot -
Applause...applause. Your dogged research pays off. Great to see these LV survivors...especially the tug. Quite a find.

Questions...Annville, Pa...that's near Lebanon, correct?
And what was the U-boat's last LV scheme?

Urban,
the LV U-boats only wore one scheme during their short LV career..
the engines were built in late 1974, and they became Conrail engines only a year and a half later!
so just the one LV scheme for them..
