Maybe a techie can help us both.
I sent http://www.railroadradio.net/content/view/178/215/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
to my I-Phone pulled up the site (Ashland, VA radio stream) and clicked RealPlayer. After clicking download, a link asking whether I wanted to open appeared for a split second. I never could click on it to open. When clicking on WinAmp, iTunes, XMMS or WMP I got a message asking whether I wanted to download hunton.pls again.
Next I tried copying the iTunes link http://railaudio2.railroadradio.net:7222/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and putting it on my iPhone. Got s screen entitled USHOUTcast.D.N.A.S.Status that provided basic information on the site.
Never been able to actually open the stream on my phone. I tried the iTunes link on my mainframe and verified that the site works.
When I use the same procedure with sites on Broadcastify and railstream.llc they work fine on my phone.
