Council's railroad decision will be focus of hearing

BELFAST - In response to an outpouring of criticism about its decision to evict the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad from the city-owned rail yard, the City Council will hold a public comment session tonight for people who want to express their views on the matter. Mayor Michael Hurley said the council originally called the meeting to discuss goals, but the focus of the meeting changed after councilors said they received a number of complaints from city merchants and railroad buffs.
