In response to Crabman1130's query:
Why is it 10mph? Is it track conditions? Who is responsible for maintance on that line?
I gather the LIRR turned over maintance of the Bay Ridge Branch to Mr. rt since they heard he does such a FINE JOB of track maintance at Branford Electric Railway.

But wait a minute- there's no gaurantees! Just ask the (now) 1 armed guy who passed out on the Bushwacker late one night. :(

We never got to put the fake arm with blood on the ENGR trainee's car, as a prank. He was already upset at the scene crying like a little girl because a drunk guy crawled underneath his train. Good thing the conductor was smart enough to convince the FDNY chief not to use the subway car jacks to lift the engine to rescue the person trapped. That would of sucked trying to get out even more people!

If NY & Atl was allowed to do MOW on Bayridge, they might want to look over the MOW stuff on the dead line East of the old Dunken yard.

NYA cant even afford a mallet to drive a spike into a tie, let alone burned equipment in Dunkirk.

Is that the rumor? Totally plausible, but... Nah, all on board were awake. One guy (TwinkBoy J) checking the numbers of the high sided gons as we passed, one (YABoy)checking the hoses, angle cocks, couplers, and handbrakes, and one (Disgruntled A-Hole) thinking "Hmmm, there sure are lot of piles of rags on the right-of-way, somebody oughta clean this place up."

I have the flashbacks to prove it!
