Since I retired in 2016 - names changed to protect the guilty - functions barely changed.

I can add a bit to that. MARC commuter trains were tracked in CSX using a "P" (Passenger) as the letter prefix, followed by the train number in the MARC timetables for the Brunswick and Camden lines (3 digit number). I don't know what the two latter digits were.

Nice to know what some of the trains were that were logged in the old MARC Ops logs!

The final two digits of all CSX train ID's are the two digit day of Scheduled Originiation. Freight trains MAY leave in advance of the schedule.
