The 470 RR Club has mentioned on a number of occasions that they intend to scrap 1757, once all the usable parts are stripped off of it. Supposedly the Conway Scenic is interested in the fuel tank, replacing the one currently on 573. I think the club wants to make back as much money as possible from the unit, which includes its scrap value.
