James Vanbokkelen lists 24 Pullman heavy weight sleepers owned by the B&M, some lasting into the the 1960s.
http://faracresfarm.com/jbvb/rr/bmrr/pa ... tml#roster
but provides no pictures, and only a few and uncertain citations.
Robert Liljenstrand in his "Passenger Cars of New England" makes no reference to these cars at all.
Can forum members recall the operation of these cars and/or cite photographic evidence of them?
I'd like to determine some modeling details, were any ever painted Maroon, etc.
and wonder what trains they might have travelled in, how far afield they went...

thanks in advance

I don't own the copyright on any pictures from that era, sorry. The ownership is from various reprints of Pullman's Official List of Cars, you can check it at the Pullman Project. None of the sleepers were painted maroon, though one got 2-tone gray after it had stopped running on the B&M. All of the parlors were maroon, at least by the late 1940s. The baggage cars most were rebuilt into were maroon.

Train assignments, specific configurations etc. have been extensively discussed on [email protected], going back at least 5 years. The list's archives are open and fairly easy to search. Jacob Klerman isn't active these days, but he did a lot of the initial research, so look for his name too.
