Is there a siding east of Warren, MA
before Worcester?

I was waiting for 449 at Warren
yesterday and an eastbound CSX
came by close to 449s time. How far
off was 449 likely waiting?

Yes, there is a siding between CP-64 (East Brookfield) and CP-57 (Charlton) prior to double track resuming at CP-48 just west of Worcester. Usually only the portion between CP-60 (Spencer) and CP-57 will be used for meets since the western half of the siding is usually occupied by the EBSR working with Q264/Q293's autoracks.

Amtrak trains are not permitted to use the siding between CP-60 and CP-64 so they (Amtrak 449) would have to wait at CP-60.
