Just viewed an overhead picture of the rear deck on a PT tender behind locomotive 6011. No ATS equipment box is visible. Thought all NYC tenders carried this equipment on the right side of the deck immediately behind the coal bunker and the Reset Box was located beneath it under the right side sill next to the side ladder.

Does anyone have a photo to indicate the ATS Box (contains 3 relays & ballast resistor) location on PT tenders? Was this unique to S Class or did J Class locomotives with PT tanks also have ATS located elsewhere?
