Hey everyone,
An interesting article concerning a new rail-trail proposal around Pemberton...normally I'm not a big fan of rail-trails, but since this one supports preservation of railroad artifacts, I figure I'll support this one:

Every day at the lunch hour, several employees of a chemical company leave their pens and computers, don walking shoes and trek into the woods.

They hike a trail loop of almost four miles along an abandoned railroad line to the restored North Pemberton Railroad station and back. Next to the station they pass an old rail yard of abandoned buildings overgrown with weeds that also cover a locomotive turntable...
