Today (25 March 2005) there is an article on the Green Goat (reasonable accurate I think, albiet a bit simplified - it does mention EPA Tier II emission standards). Apparently the UP is becoming interested in the Goats in a big way (as is CP, but we already knew that). This may be one of the first mentions I recall in a non-Railroad specific site (come to think of it, it may have been in the IEEE spectrum new technology issue a few months back). Anyway, here's the article link http://www.wired.com/news/planet/0,2782 ... _tophead_6 which will eventually be archived) - I guess after 2 or more successful years of testing, people are starting to notice.

Anyone remember any other mentions of the Goat in the non-rail trade press?

There's at least one in Kearny, NJ - but does anyone know how many are currently on the rails?
