Armitage CTA Derailment - 5/9/13

Heads up - there's a red line train off the tracks near Armitage and nothing is getting past. I've been hearing choppers hovering for the last hour, so I logged on to the news outlets to see what's going on - here's the report:

"At least one person was taken to a hospital after a car of a CTA Red Line train derailed this morning near Armitage Avenue, halting Red Line and Brown Line trains in both directions, officials said."

MAKE ALTERNATE PLANS if you commute this way. nothing is getting by right now.

Red & Brown back in business as of 3pm locally, with minor delays, likely due to trains still tip-toeing past the derailment site...
