Did the B&A have bay window cabs (which were then new) painted box car red in the late 50's lettered for the road? Were they lettered NYCS or B&A and what road numbers did they carry?

Lots of caboose info here: http://www.canadasouthern.com/caso/NYC- ... ABOOSE.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

According to that, B&A 1300 - 1304 were steel bay window cabooses, and were folded into the NYC 21500 - 21798 series with no apparent mention of which new numbers they received.

Found out from other sources answer to my question; will provide here for the benefit of others.

B&A had five steel cabs, #1300 - 1304 built in 1949 as Lot 782 by Dispatch Shops. These cabs went on to NYC as 20498 - 20502; then N-7 Class on PC as 21516,21721,21734,21793, & 21795.

Thanks for filling that info out. It should be noted that in between the NYC 20498-20592 numbering and the Penn Central, they would have been NYC 21516, 21721, 21734, 21793 and 21795. That would have been mid-1960's time frame.
